Shipping Your Chocolate

We make chocolate the homemade way so getting it to you as fresh as possible requires special attention. Due to the fact that your chocolate shipment may go through several shipping hubs in various regions while reaching its final destination, we have a few shipping conditions that apply to all orders.

We can only schedule shipping for delivery Monday through Saturday and not on any holidays. Please do NOT select a delivery date for a Sunday or a holiday.

There is a $15 surcharge for Saturday deliveries.

If you are ordering after 1 p.m. EST on a Thursday or any time on Friday please note that we cannot ship orders on the weekend. If you place an order after 1 p.m. on Thursday or anytime on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, your order will be fulfilled on Monday.

Our standard shipping is 2nd Day Air with UPS. You may upgrade to Next Day shipping for an additional fee. Or you may select Ground Shipping in the cool weather months —October 16 – April 14.

During the warm weather months —April 15 - October 15—5th Avenue Chocolatiere MUST ship chocolate Next Day UPS. This helps to protect your chocolate so that it is in perfect condition when it reaches its destination.

Also, when shipping during the warm weather months there is an additional fee of $20 for the cooling materials added to the shipping container.

Finally, in order to ensure that your package of joy arrive in time for any given holiday, please place your order by NOON EST at least 3 business days, not including Friday, prior to the actual holiday.
